Vice President of Business Development

Jim focuses on developing new markets, expanding existing markets, and building existing partner relationships at Wineman Technology. He is also responsible for managing various direct accounts and supporting our worldwide technical sales team, as well as providing design experience to our engineering team. Previously, Jim served as the Hydraulic Systems Sales Engineer at the company, specializing in impulse testing, burst testing, fatigue testing, and other fluid power-based systems.

Before making the move to Wineman Technology, Jim held several positions at RHM Fluid Power for 23 years – including territory sales, engineering manager, domestic and international (Asia) sales engineering. Prior to RHM Fluid Power, he worked as a sales engineer for Cummings Industrial Systems and started his career as a fluid power controls designer for Olofsson Corporation.

Jim holds a wealth of knowledge with more than 30 years of sales experience and offers more than four decades of experience working with open and closed loop proportional servo systems for pressure, positioning, and velocity control. He has engineered systems from -40°F to +400°F, with tolerances held to 0.5 kPa and .0005”, pressures up to 60,000 psi, and systems greater than 10,000 HP. These applications have spanned many industries, such as oil and gas, automotive, primary metal industries, food processing, and military and aerospace. Outside of work, Jim’s hobbies include woodworking, hunting, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family and three dogs.
