Wineman Technology Recognized by National Instruments Americas Sales Leadership for Outstanding Performance, Commitment, and Technical Excellence
The First Robotics season is over for 2018, but it’s not too late to write my annual blog about what I learned from building a robot over the span of a couple of months with a bunch of high school students.
Wineman Technology, Inc., a leading test solutions company, today announced that its CANalytics software was named the National Instruments LabVIEW Tools Network Application Enablement Product of the Year award winner. The company was also honored with the NI Alliance Partner Network Gold Level Outstanding Technical Resources award. NI presented these awards today at NIWeek, the annual conference for its Alliance Partners and customers, held May 22-25 in Austin, Texas.
Wineman Technology will be in Austin, Texas at NIWeek 2017, May 22 - 25. Come see us at booth #827 on the Expo Floor. We'll be debuting our brand new booth, sharing demos and new products, as well as partnering with the Berghof Group for a joint demo of their new tell cell control system PIA Prime. We will also have the new NI ATE Core Configuration in our booth that will be demoed during the Monday Alliance Day Keynote. Contact us to set up an appointment, or just stop by when you have a minute. See you in Austin!
I’ve been helping out Team 5703 at the Midland Charter Academy for the past two years as a First Robotics (FRC) Mentor. For those of you that haven’t heard of it, FRC is an organization that exists to “ inspire young people to be science and technology leaders”. One of the ways they do this is by sponsoring the FIRST Robotics Competition, a very sophisticated, well-organized competition where high school students have six weeks to build a custom robot. This robot is then used to compete in a game that is unique to that “season”. The competition combines the best of the science and technical worlds with the thrill of being part of a sports team. During the competitions, high school gyms and convention centers are overflowing with students cheering their teams to victory.
On Tuesday September 29th, Wineman Technology (WTI) will be participating in the College of Engineering Pre-Gallery Co-op/Intern Day at Michigan State University (MSU). The purpose of this event is to offer students the chance to explore companies offering internships and co-op opportunities as well as provide employers with an opportunity to review talent and arrange interviews.
Wineman Technology Inc. (WTI) has experienced significant growth in the past couple of years and our Saginaw office location has been stretched to capacity, especially during peak production times. To address this issue and to provide room for future expansion, we are pleased to announce that we have purchased the building adjacent to our Saginaw location. This building, formerly owned by AHB, Inc., will add 4,000 square feet of office space and 9,000 square feet of shop space, doubling the capacity of the existing facility. A planned 2,500 square foot addition, connecting the two buildings, will provide enough space for years of growth at our present location.
The state of Michigan sponsored a Trade Mission to Brazil from March 24-27, 2014, and Wineman Technology participated with five other Michigan-based companies by sending Matt Eurich (President) and Darryn La Zar (VP of Sales). In addition to potential customer visits, the main purpose of the visit was to evaluate the Brazilian market for potentially exporting test equipment, assess the local competition, and investigate partnerships that could be used to grow our business in Brazil.
