Wineman Technology CANalytics Platform Now on the LabVIEW Tools Network

We are happy to announce that Wineman Technology CANalytics software is now available on the NI LabVIEW Tools Network. The CANalytics platform provides an interface to maximize the benefits of CAN bus hardware, particularly for automotive and aerospace applications where it provides a durable network that supports communication between multiple electronic control units (ECUs). With the CANalytics LabVIEW API, engineers can save time and money by easily creating an interface to integrate with a LabVIEW application, rather than developing a completely custom GUI for every CAN application.

Developing the Next Generation of Engineers

I’ve been helping out Team 5703 at the Midland Charter Academy for the past two years as a First Robotics (FRC) Mentor. For those of you that haven’t heard of it, FRC is an organization that exists to  inspire young people to be science and technology leaders”. One of the ways they do this is by sponsoring the FIRST Robotics Competition, a very sophisticated, well-organized competition where high school students have six weeks to build a custom robot. This robot is then used to compete in a game that is unique to that “season”. The competition combines the best of the science and technical worlds with the thrill of being part of a sports team. During the competitions, high school gyms and convention centers are overflowing with students cheering their teams to victory.

Wineman Technology will be attending MSU's College of Engineering Pre-Gallery Co-op/Intern Day

On Tuesday September 29th, Wineman Technology (WTI) will be participating in the College of Engineering Pre-Gallery Co-op/Intern Day at Michigan State University (MSU). The purpose of this event is to offer students the chance to explore companies offering internships and co-op opportunities as well as provide employers with an opportunity to review talent and arrange interviews.

Wineman Technology Expands Saginaw Location

Wineman Technology Inc. (WTI) has experienced significant growth in the past couple of years and our Saginaw office location has been stretched to capacity, especially during peak production times. To address this issue and to provide room for future expansion, we are pleased to announce that we have purchased the building adjacent to our Saginaw location. This building, formerly owned by AHB, Inc., will add 4,000 square feet of office space and 9,000 square feet of shop space, doubling the capacity of the existing facility. A planned 2,500 square foot addition, connecting the two buildings, will provide enough space for years of growth at our present location.
