Wind turbine powertrain systems are designed for long life in harsh conditions. Testing during both R&D and assembly are necessary to ensure that performance specifications and life expectations can be met. 

Wineman Technology offers systems to validate turbine powertrain and generator performance in laboratory and production environments. These systems are similar to those used by NASCAR to validate high performance engines and transmissions for grueling race-day conditions as well as those deployed for aviation and missile defense powertrain systems. 

Our systems are custom designed to meet your performance needs with a wide range of features available. Systems can be designed to check specific operating modes, or to simulate the full range of real world conditions and perform durability testing. High-speed accelerometers can be added to the system to provide data about vibration and bearings. Our INERTIA™ test automation software provides the brains of the system while drives, sensors, and hydraulics systems provide the brawn.
