Seat Recliner Production Sound Quality Test System
The Seat Recliner Production Sound Quality Test System allows the operator to load both the left and right mechanical recliner mechanisms. Once loaded, the tester cycles the part through its full range of motion and optionally allows a load placed on the mechanism at a user definable maximum of up to 500 lbF.
Once complete, the tester evaluates the sound quality of the part to include fluctuation strength and various other parameters. The tester interfaces to the plant information system and uses an impact righter to mark the parts for pass/fail.
