Fault Insertion Unit

Wineman Technology's FIU-810 fault insertion board provides 8 channels of fault insertion for simulating fault conditions in automotive, aerospace and industrial systems. It features up to four separate fault busses for applying various conditions to the unit under test, as well as current sensing on each channel.

Examples of fault conditions include:

Open circuit
Short to Vbat
Short to GND
Short to pin-to-pin bus
Short to a second pin-to-pin Bus
