Fault Insertion Unit
Wineman Technology, Inc.'s FIU-810 fault insertion boards provide 8 channels of fault insertion for simulating fault conditions in automotive, aerospace and industrial systems.
The boards feature up to 4 separate fault busses for applying various conditions to the unit under test as well as current sensing on each channel.
Examples of fault conditions include:
- Open Circuit
- Short to Vbat
- Short to GND
- Short to Pin-to-Pin Bus
- Short to a second Pin-to-Pin Bus
