Carburetor Diaphragm Tester
The Carburetor Diaphragm Tester includes an NI PXI chassis with an NI M-series DAQ card. It tests the elasticity of small carburetor diaphragms for small engines used in lawn and garden equipment, and is used for both R&D and production.
The diaphragm has air pumped in beneath the carburetor to flex it, while a laser measures the vertical displacement. Pass/fail criteria can be placed upon the part for a production option. There are statistical calculations run on data sets sorted by lot code.
