Established in 1991, Wineman Technology, Inc. (WTI) specializes in providing the right technical solution for solving a wide range of test applications, such as dynamometer systems, servo-hydraulics, data acquisition systems, real time controllers, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems and general testing machines. Unlike other companies where test plays a partial role, Wineman Technology’s singular focus is the design and development of test equipment for advanced research and development, functional test labs, and manufacturing production. Our decision to focus on test systems with a diverse range of capabilities enables us to deliver maximum system reliability, serviceability, and support.

How It All Started - Founder and CEO James A. Wineman Looks Back
"I was offered an early retirement from General Motors in 1991 and decided to accept it so that I could start Wineman Technology, Inc. I felt that with the knowledge and experience I had acquired in the manufacturing engineering field that I could provide a valuable service in the areas of engineering and building of control systems, data acquisition systems, and test machines. I chose this business model because my education is in electrical and mechanical engineering and having over 35 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and management positions that encompassed this type of equipment.
Each project is a custom design and build, which necessitates acquiring knowledge of the customer's product features and designing to their specifications of performance. WTI has customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. We are in ground transportation, aerospace, defense, alternative energy and residential products, as well as in many other industries. For the past three years (2009-2011), Wineman Technology was recognized by Inc. magazine for being one of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in America."
